Create and edit products.
Once received the credentials via email these would be the steps to follow. Click "Login" in the bottom right corner under "Sell on CanarianMarket".
We introduce the email and the password that we have provided them. Inside the producer panel we will focus on two concepts from the list:

1- CREATE/EDIT PRODUCTS
In this section you can edit the products you have already created and registered, and you can also create new products.
Product registration in English and subsequent translation
The translation of the product is not automatic, and it is necessary to add the information for each language. 1st we will create the product in Spanish, and once saved and finalised the Spanish in all its tabs, in 2nd place we will move on to the next language.
Information
Product name: A short title. Maximum 50-60 characters. We recommend that the name clearly details the type of product, its quantity or package format.
Short description: A brief description of the product with its main features and general characteristics. Minimum 200 and maximum 2,000 characters.
Category: We choose the one that corresponds to our product. Before choosing the final category we must also select the parent category, being "Food and beverages" ; "cosmetics and health" ; "clothing and textile".
Retail Price (Individuals). First you must select the tax rule which will depend on each product. The main taxes are marked in bold for your convenience. Set the price with IGIC included and the platform will calculate on the web to the final customer the prices with VAT. Remember that the marketplace commission and applicable expenses will be deducted from the price.
Brand. Assign a brand to the product. In case your company has several brands, you must create them previously in the selector "Create New Brand".
I agree to include the product in Packs CanarianMarket. By ticking this box you allow this product to be freely included in Packs created by the Marketing team of CanarianMarket, assuming that its price can be modified up to -5% within the pack together with products of other brands.
Price for companies (B2B and Horeca). In case you set a price (Optional) for the professional channel you must do it in this box. If you also tick the box "This product is exclusive for the HORECA channel", you will be configuring that individuals can neither see nor buy this product.
Special prices and discounts. You can apply the discount of your product both in percentage (%) and in direct amount (€). In addition, you can optionally program the dates during which the offer will be active.
Once you have completed the information section, click on "Update product" in the bottom right-hand corner to move on to the next tab.
Images: The characteristics of the recommended images are as follows:
High quality photos, clear and with a resolution of at least 2000px x 2000px (which allows you to zoom and appreciate details).
A minimum of 2 photos per reference (front and back), ideally 3 or 4.
Photos with square format and pure white background.
Photos that faithfully transmit the colours of the real product and are not dull, coloured or artificially saturated.
Framed photos, which take advantage of the canvas and do not have an excessive white border.
In case of not having 100% adequate photos, the CanarianMarket reviewer team will decide if your uploaded photos have a minimum quality necessary to appear in the marketplace, and will contact you to correct them if not.
Features: All the specific features of the product will be included.
Video: The video will be added as a youtube link, if you do not have a youtube channel, you only have to send us the video and we will upload it.
When you have finished including all the information, click on "Save and exit".
Edit products: To edit a product already created, we will perform the same actions as above but selecting the product we want to edit and pressing the button "modify".

Language: The translation is not automatic, you have to add the information for each language.
Information:
Default language: Spanish
Name and Surname: We will include the name of the producer or directly the name of the company.
Name of the shop: The first of these will be used as the url, i.e.: www.canarianmarket.com/productor1
Name of the shop: This is the name that will appear directly in the area of producers and products.
Email and Telephone: For contacting the customer, as it will appear in the publication.
NIF/CIF: Optional
About the shop: Brief description of our shop and the products we offer.
About the producer: Description about the producer, an "about us" where we will explain who we are.
Images: Images about the producer, his work and production space, area of origin, equipment. Any business photograph.
The format must be:
- High quality photos, sharp and with a resolution of at least 2000px x 2000px (allowing to zoom and appreciate details).
- Photos that faithfully convey the colours of the actual product and are not dull, coloured, or artificially saturated.
- Framed photos, which take advantage of the canvas and do not have an excessive white border.
- Square or horizontal format.
Video of the producer: The video will be added as a youtube link, if you do not have a youtube channel, you only have to send us the video and we will upload it.
Once this information has been completed and before continuing to the next tab, we will save the information.
Address:
We will add the complete address with postcode, municipality, island and province.
Images:
Profile image: Company logo. Format: 200 x 200 pixels.
Shop logo: Company logo. Format: 200 x 200 pixels.
Featured banner: This will be the image that appears at the top of the producer area (below the example the banner will appear in the grey area) Format: 1140 x 285 pixels.
Shop banner: This will be the image that appears at the top of the products area (below the example the banner will appear in the grey area). 1140 x 285 pixels format.
Social media: The different links to the social networks will be added:
Facebook: ONLY the final part of the link will be added, example: https://www.facebook.com/productor1
Twitter: ONLY the final part of the link will be added, e.g.: https://twitter.com/productor1
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/productor1
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/productor1
Social networks are not mandatory, but at least one of them is recommended.
Fields to display:
Here we can determine which fields will be displayed on the page, although again we recommend that all of them are displayed.
Finally we will return to "SAVE" the information so that it is registered.

>>> In both cases, both the producer profile and the product data will be pending to be validated by quality control and entry of logistic goods in warehouses. Once the CanarianMarket team reviews and verifies that it is valid, the information will be confirmed and published in the following 24/48 hours <<<
Brands: Create brands and assign products to them
The same producer can have as many brands as he needs. You can create your different brands in the area:
To assign a brand to the product, use the selector when creating or editing 1 product.
Offers: How to publish and delete product offers?
You can apply product discounts both in percentage (%) and in direct amount (€). In addition, you can optionally set how long the offer will be active. If you do not set a date, the offer will be active indefinitely until it is deleted.
In the following example there will be a discount of 3€ for 10 days.
To delete an offer, use the "Delete ?" button in the Active Offers table below.
B2B/Horeca How do I indicate different prices and quantities for B2B/Horeca?
Setting more advantageous rates for the professional channel is optional. Simply fill in the price field of the HORECA product.
In this example we set a RRP of 10€ and a special rate for professionals of 8€.
You can set a product only available for Horeca, activating the corresponding checkbox. For example, you could create a product such as "Box of 6 bottles of wine" only available for the professional channel.

Videos: How do I link a video to my product?
1) Once you are editing your product, go to the 4th optional tab and enter the URL of the YouTube video of the product in question:
2) Access your video hosted on the Youtube platform and look for the "Share" button:
3) Look for the "Embed" button.
4) Find the "Insert" button and click on "copy" to copy the HTML code of the video in question:
5) Finally, paste the code into the "Video URL" box on your product panel and click "Update Product".
** If you do not have your product video hosted on a streaming platform such as Youtube, you can send it to the email info@canarianmarket.com and it will be linked to the product as soon as possible. (Given the presumed weight of the product videos, we suggest you use a tool such as www.wetransfer.com to send the video to info@canarianmarket.com
